I am an Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Northwest Medical Center, where I also serve as Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Department Chair of Medicine. I completed my residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital and St. Barnabas Hospital in New York and have been in clinical practice for more than 25 years.
I played an integral role in the development and approval of the Northwest Medical Center Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program, contributing to the establishment of a strong foundation for residency training and physician development.
I am passionate about my role because it provides the opportunity to help shape the future of medicine by mentoring and training the next generation of physicians. I am particularly motivated by building innovative educational programs, fostering a supportive learning environment, and helping residents achieve their full professional potential.
Teaching is one of my greatest professional interests. I have a special focus on leading Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives with residents, working collaboratively to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing meaningful changes that enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and traveling.
