Dr. Michelle Williams is the founding Program Director for the Northwest Healthcare Transitional Year Residency Program.

Lyndsey Kramp, M.D. – Program Director (Family Medicine)

As an Assistant Professor and Core Faculty for the UAMS Family Medicine Residency Program for 9 years, she directed and mentored many clinical quality improvement projects, national academic poster presentations and was honored as Teacher of the Year (2019). She moved to Tucson in 2022 as the founding Program Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Northwest Healthcare, Tucson. Dr. Kramp is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and Chair of the Graduate Education Leadership Committee at Northwest Healthcare.

Matthew Vargas, D.O. – Associate Program Director (Family Medicine)

Dr. Vargas completed medical school at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ, and his Family Medicine residency with University of California, Davis at Travis Air Force Base, and in affiliation with the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Jessica Brooks has been working in Graduate Medical Education (GME) for over 20 years within different specialties in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

Sujatha Reddy, M.D.- Internal Medicine

Dr. Sujatha Reddy grew up in India, where she went to medical school before doing her post graduate training in New York City and Baltimore. Dr. Reddy was trained in internal medicine, following which she sub-specialized in infectious diseases and critical care. These fields solidified her passion in treating the entire spectrum of ailments in her patients. She has been practicing as a hospitalist here in Tucson for the past 27 years.

Kimball Kaufman, D.O. – Hospitalist

Dr. Kimball Kaufman has been a hospitalist at Northwest Medical Center since July 2021. Professional interests include pharmacology, antimicrobial stewardship.

Jonny Neilson, M.D. – Core Faculty (Family Medicine, Pediatrics)

Dr. Neilson completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and his Pediatrics Residency at the University of Arizona – Tucson. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He fell in love with the desert beauty of Tucson.
