Our brand-new outpatient clinic is scheduled to open on July 1, 2026, providing residents with a modern, patient-centered training environment designed to support high-quality continuity care, procedures, team-based care, and resident education. While under construction we have dedicated clinical space working in the Primary Care at Fountain Plaza location.
Both the new building and the current clinic are located on the same campus, and just a block (three-minute walk) from the main hospital building. Many other specialists are in the same area and it will be easy to get to rotation sites. We have on-site dedicated didactics, conference meeting space, kitchen, and resident lounge space. Family Medicine residents’ primary hospital for inpatient rotations will be at the Northwest Hospital – Houghton, a brand-new hospital which opened in 2022.

Northwest Family Medicine is a new and growing residency where residents are known, supported, and actively involved in shaping the program.
