I was born and raised in Brazil. My hometown is Goiânia, Goiás.
What makes you excited to be a Family Medicine Resident in Tucson?
Tucson is such a welcoming and culturally rich community! I am very excited about the strong structure and commitment by the family medicine residency team to make this a great opportunity to learn and contribute to improving health outcomes in this city with an incomparable mountain view.
How do you spend a free weekend?
On weekends, I usually do household chores, as I enjoy taking care of my home and spending time playing with my son. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding, and as my son gets older, we can enjoy these activities together more.
Where is your ideal vacation?
Somewhere stimulating with activities where I can explore and get to know different food and cultures. I’m the spreadsheet kind of traveler, active from dawn to dusk. Next stop: Alaska Northern Lights.
Who’s your favorite superhero and why?
Black Widow. I admire the Black Widow because of her incredible resilience. Despite her difficult past and the many challenges she faced, she always persevered and stayed true to her values. Her strength, both physically and mentally, allows her to overcome obstacles. Black Widow’s resilience is truly inspiring, showing that no matter how tough the circumstances, inner strength and determination can lead to redemption.
