What makes you excited to be a Family Medicine Resident in Tucson?
Many reasons, including my appreciation for the holistic approach of family medicine in addition to caring for the whole family, across all ages and stages. I’m also interested in hands-on procedures. Tucson adds to that with its diverse patient population, which I find both enriching and rewarding to work with.
How do you spend a free weekend?
I spend it with my wife and sometimes with friends—relaxing by the pool, catching up, or working out at the gym.
Where is your ideal vacation?
A place that combines beaches, beautiful scenery, great food, and rich culture, probably somewhere like Amalfi, Italy.
Who’s your favorite superhero and why?
I have to admit I’m not deeply into superheroes, so this might sound a bit boring, but I’ve always liked Batman. His powers are grounded in realism. discipline, intelligence, and resilience. I also love the fact how he channels personal loss into a sense of purpose.
