Dr. Shaalina Nair grew up in Ipoh, Malaysia graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2017. She completed her housemanship (e.g., Malaysian residency) at University Malaya Medical Center in 2020. Dr. Nair brings to Northwest Health Tucson clinical experience in emergency medicine and critical care medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic and experience in primary care thereafter.
Outside of work, her hobbies include cooking, traveling, and watercolor painting. Dr. Nair also loves cooking Malaysian and Indiana food, with her personal favorite dish being ‘Nasi Lemak.’ An additional interest includes mentoring and guiding others applying to residency during her spare time.
