Why did you choose NW Transitional Year Residency?
I chose this program for its diverse rotation opportunities, strong faculty and leadership, and the chance to live in Tucson – where I can enjoy the outdoors and explore new food spots.
What were your favorite electives during your TY residency?
My favorite electives included infectious disease, PM&R, orthopedic surgery, and pediatrics!
What are your professional interests within your specialty?
I am interested in both pediatric and adult rehab, sports medicine, pelvic health and rehab, and MSK ultrasound.
What did you enjoy most about life in Tucson?
Access to great hiking spots around town and lots of golf!
Favorite way to spend a day off?
Hiking in the morning and grabbing breakfast at Prep & Pastry after. Going to the pool in the afternoon and reading a book!
Any advice for future interns?
Take it a day at a time! Before you know it, you will feel confident in your clinical management. Collaborate with your team and you will do great!
