Dr. Murphy grew up in Tucson and is a UofA Wildcat alumni. She went on to complete medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado, and Family Medicine Residency training at McAlester Regional Health Center in Oklahoma. She is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Medicine. Dr. Murphy is excited to have returned to Arizona to practice in her home community as a hospitalist. Her teaching interests are focused on inpatient hospital medicine, and she enjoys empowering residents to hone their skills in sound medical decision making. “When one teaches, two learn.” –Robert Heinlein
